Project PrintFlow
Project Summary
This project focused on integrating a specialized print order management platform into the existing order management system (OMS) to streamline and automate wholesale digital production services.
Problem Statement
The project was initiated to address the inefficiencies and high error rates in the manual management of the wholesale print order process, which were leading to delays, inaccuracies, and difficulties in vendor coordination.
Key Objectives
•    Automate Order Processing: Minimize manual data entry and streamline order processing to improve efficiency and accuracy.
•    Streamline Vendor Management: Create a seamless workflow for managing both standard and custom print orders, enhancing collaboration with fulfillment vendors.
•    Increase Revenue & Customer Satisfaction: Drive revenue growth by offering a more reliable and efficient ordering experience for wholesale print services customers.
Solutions Implemented
•    API and EDI Integration
•    Single Sign-On Implementation
•    Automated Vendor Onboarding
Outcomes Achieved
•    Achieved a 31% reduction in order processing time
•    Increased order accuracy to 98%
•    Generated $6.3M in additional revenue in the first full year of implementation

Responsibilities
(See my Core Responsibilities across all projects)
•    API Specification Documentation: Documented API specifications for the integration, including endpoints, data models, request/response structures, and error handling details.
•    Vendor Coordination: Collaborated with the solution provider, defining requirements and aligning technical specifications.
•    Regulatory Compliance: Worked with the legal and compliance teams to ensure that all changes made to the system, especially those involving data handling and SSO integration, adhered to regulatory requirements and existing printer contracts.
•    Process Re-engineering: Identified and implemented process improvements of the print order process.
Technologies Involved
•    Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD): Implemented for Single Sign-On (SSO) to secure and streamline user access.
•    API Development: Developed APIs to facilitate integration between the OMS and the print management platform.
•    Electronic Data Interchange (EDI): Utilized for automating data exchange, enhancing order processing and vendor communications.
Future State:  Wholesale Print Order Process
This process flow has been simplified and modified to protect confidential information.
