Phase I:  E-Commerce Marketplace & OMS Integration
Project Summary
This project focuses on integrating a global E-Commerce Marketplace with Office Depot’s order fulfillment systems to offer Buy Online Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) and Same Day Delivery (SDD) services. The integration enables Office Depot to capture incremental customer demand from the marketplace, expanding its reach beyond traditional customers.  This integration leverages Office Depot’s existing retail infrastructure to offer faster, localized delivery options.  This project was the first phase of a larger initiative, with the next phase focusing on automating returns to the marketplace.
The Opportunity
The goal of this project is to leverage the opportunity to expand Office Depot's customer reach and drive increased traffic and sales to retail stores.
Key Objectives
•    Expand Customer Reach: Leverage the marketplace to capture incremental customer demand and extend Office Depot's reach beyond its traditional customer base.
•    Real-Time Inventory Synchronization: Ensure a real-time sync between Office Depot's systems and the marketplace, providing accurate stock availability for BOPIS & SDD orders.
•    Enhance Order Fulfillment Speed: Streamline the order processing workflow to improve fulfillment speed, enabling faster delivery and pickup options for customers.
•    Increase Traffic and Sales: Drive increased traffic to Office Depot retail locations by offering customers the option to pick up their orders in-store or receive same-day delivery, contributing to overall sales growth.
•    Leverage Existing Retail Infrastructure: Utilize Office Depot's existing retail infrastructure to efficiently fulfill orders, ensuring faster, localized delivery options for customers.

Responsibilities

•    Testing:  Developed an end-to-end test plan in collaboration with cross-functional teams, created test orders, and executed test cases
•    Control File Record Creation:  Created unique identifiers in a specific control file to differentiate between customer and carrier pickup orders, ensuring accurate processing for BOPIS and SDD transactions.
•    Mod Log Updates:  Updated programs to display modification logs for all marketplace BOPIS and SDD orders, enabling accurate tracking and auditing of order changes throughout the fulfillment process.
